uni life
Life was like a roller coaster for the past few weeks, not because there's ups and downs, but it was thrilling and so happening :D
started uni 3 weeks ago, stayed at aunt's new house which was so convenient except the very fact that there's no internet access T_T but thank goodness they are installing streamyx during the raya break. from then i can skype home :D gotten a sheltered carpark at vista, so from then on i can just walk to imu from there. Applied a new msia line in Hotlink Youth Club! 12 cent per minute call and 1 cent per sms, imba cheap! im more or less settled down in kl already. the next thing to do is to familiarise the kl roads! (:
orientation was fun yet VERY TIRING, coz most of the time it ended at 12am+ as we had to prepare our group cheer, dance, stage performance at vista. nevertheless this brought Triuna closer together and we really enjoyed ourselves. could u imagine we danced mj's Thriller at the main entrance of time square! xD attracted a lot of attention, not only from the public, but also the security guards who were rallying their men in response to this bunch of attention seekers. but boy, it's orientation. do what u want and make the most fun out of it :D our dresscode video was remarkably awesome and won the most thumbs up among all :D love it man. even my aunt LOL watching it :D
lectures have officially started in the second week. thankfully most of the topic were already covered in singapore A level syllabus, except lipoprotein and lipid metabolism. some lecturer are very hypnotic, some are good, some are very distracted and carried away by their own jokes-.- the notes are not helping, i guess i gotta read up more on textbooks. PBL was good, coz it's very interactive and interesting. the library is very conducive for self-studying, and that's where we spend most of our time after sch which can sometimes ends at 10am =x after mugging in lib we usually go jog at the park (= what a healthy lifestyle. i guess at least 50% of our batch joined infinity mileless. everybody seems very health-conscious ya. a culture shock for me :P
the singaporean gang is forever uplifting. we had a fun time at pasar malam in sri petaling, sports and feast at savanna. and more yet to come after raya :D we took a night flight on 18 to singapore. wohooo :D on 19, meiying, mark and i went for MAF in hwachong! MAF is when all alumni meet! got to see my long parted classmates, juniors, seniors, tkd pple, and the malaysian gang who studied in nus ntu smu. so worth coming!! ahh really miss my friends. I love HC.
took a morning bus back to jaybee today. home sweet home man! mum looks good, though she's still bedridden. She will recover soon. Life is good, and it will be better (:
my bus back to KL is on 26 sept! (: next holiday will fall on Christmas week! :D
