JOBS DONE.

AHHH FINALLY...feeling sooooo good at home (: after six days of working as a promoter at an IT roadshow. Helloooo, 13 hours per day. Delighted to look back and realise that i have completed this challenge :D YEAH MAN IM FREE NOW!

but i miss my colleagues tho...they are so fun and whacky. everyday I was looking forward to work just becoz of them. All the pain and fatigue just disappeared in the midst of our laughter.

the days went like this: work from 10am to 11pm -> go home and sleep -> the cycle repeats. no life...
in the morning i felt the most energetic, coz i juz woke up-.-
in late noon fatigue started to sip in. coz i have to stand for a whole day long. and it's quite sleepy after lunch...
at night pain started to creep from the bottom of my feet, coz my black leather shoes have SLIGHTLY higher heels-.- so my heels were like 3cm from the ground. really not used to it man. my shoes suck.

sunday was a great day! our sales hit 14k :D we managed to sell 10 printers and 7 speakers, let alone earphones mouse webcam. yay work satisfaction! our boss would be shocked then :D Felt really satisfied when i managed to convince some malay customers to buy our printer and speakers, using my really rusty malay language. some more educated ones can speak english so much easier to tackle with. Chinese was also not a prob (: Got to see repeated customers, and they are serious buyers. Some were quite fierce and kept questioning abt the functions and limitations of our products, and at the end walked off not buying. Some would put up their superficial smile and just look around. Some were very nice and friendly. Some were impulsive and bought without much hesitation. this kind of customers rock :P

the roadshow had no security cameras installed, and one of our mouse, earphone and webcam were stolen. but the gates would be locked at night, so i highly suspect they were stolen by either the security guards themselves or other jusco staff. sigh what to do?

Working really broadens my horizons.
1.plugging a pendrive or external hard-drive into your laptop/pc will make your com runs faster, coz your com will convert that extra space into virtual memory. A very nice RAM booster (:
2. canon, hp, epson, brother printers can be very cheap at roadshow or fairs, so buyers will not hesitate to buy at that period. But when they realise their ink is running low and needa buy a new catriage, the black and colour catriage will cost them 143 bucks for canon printer for example. A canon printer MP145 price at RM189 (with ink catriage included), so the printer itself cost only 46 bucks? incredibly yes. in fact after mass production the cost of a printer is really lower than that. they can just give you a printer for free and magically suck back your money by selling you high-priced ink catriage (:
3. customers are your boss, they are even your boss' boss. but sometimes some of them are mere jokers loving to fool you with false facts and figures, eager to catch you off guard and silent you. 2 options: either you go debate with them until they lose or you can just ignore them. becoz they are not going to buy anyway, they just wanna entertain themselves. lonely jokers, how sad huh?
4. at work don't wait for instructions. take the initiative to do and ask when unsure. the supervisor is busy too.
5. money is really hardly earned. especially now during recession.
6. slacking at home is actually a blessing :P
7. Keynesian is right. HAHA.

maybe i will work for an upcoming pc fair (:
